For the last 4 years I've been working on creating Christian resources for the American and Chinese audience. It's been my burden to especially help out the church in China because their access to such material is very limited and I wanted to use my fitness writing as a way to reach as vast of an audience as possible without being restricted by censorship. That's why my first book Bodybuilding:Living as a Sacrifice was produced to look like a fitness book.
I have also been focused on creating material for children because even in the United States, there is a serious lack of quality material for children even though many people accept Christ when they are young. My 2nd book, Gospel of Mark Illustrated, tries to help children understand the story of Jesus. I have used it mainly as a resource for orphans and low income students because those populations are at a special disadvantage in terms of education and gospel outreach.
Alongside my media projects, I hope to be able to train and develop teachers and church leaders. There are many Christians now in mainland China but training is still very limited. Because of my background in the military and having been blessed with being able to go to seminary I hope to be able to bless national leaders through helping them access opportunities for further education and also leading them to workshops that will help them grow as servants for Christ.
